We are looking for qualified personnel with high motivation, initiative and integrity to fill in the following positions:

Economist (FIN-01)

Purpose

  • Support the investment authorization process and the related monitoring activity.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Run economic analyses on the basis of data collected from technical functions and utilizing scenarios and methodologies provided by Eni HQ.
  • Support the Senior Finance Analyst in providing analysis dedicated to investment decision making.
  • Provide company departments with specific support on economic evaluations as required by the hierarchy
  • Liaise with Eni HQ on the review of economic evaluations by PIAC Milan and assist in resolving queries / issue.

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Degree in Economics or relevant / equivalent discipline.
  • Fluent in English
  • 2 years finance / economics experience in an international oil & gas environment
  • Knowledge, Technical or Professional Skills
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
  • Excellent knowledge of economic models

Required Competencies

  • Analytical and interpretational skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to strict deadlines
  • Team player and self-motivated
  • Good verbal and written communication skills
  • The candidate has already hold the same position and / or planning & reporting position previously will be a plus
  • Able to manage economical evaluation model will be a plus.

Budget Analyst (FIN-02)

Purpose

  • Corporate Financial Reporting and Budgetary Analysis.

Main Accountabilities and Responsibilities

  • Prepare regular budgetary analysis reports for management; MASTRO Reporting
  • Prepare regular (monthly) budget reports for Department Managers
  • Assist with budgetary analysis and resolve Department Manager queries
  • Provide other budgetary analysis as required
  • Handling MASTRO, BMS, Segment CS reporting to Head Office
  • Consolidating Company’s Trial Balances
  • Preparing Balance Sheet and Profit & Loss
  • Gathering information from other departments to be used for MASTRO requirements
  • Delivering timely and accurate MASTRO reports (includes actual, forecast, budget and statutory reports)
  • Maintaining and reconciling intercompany balances with other eni companies
  • Reviewing and recording internal costs allocated from other PSCs and direct costs charged through local intercompany

Qualifications & Experience

  • Education: Degree in Accounting, Economics, Finance, or other appropriate discipline
  • Training and Courses
    • Accounting courses
    • Accounting certification
  • Languages: English (fluent), Indonesian (fluent)
  • Required Experience: At least 2-5 years experience in financial / accounting preferably in the oil and gas industry. Previous experience in professional practice, external auditing is preferred

Knowledge, Technical or Professional Skills

  • Good working knowledge of IAS / IFRS, US GAAP and familiarity with UK GAAP
  • Understanding of PSC and JV accounting and cost recovery principles
  • Experience with SAP is a plus
  • Excellent knowledge of MS Excel
