MedcoEnergi’s upstream activities began with its 1992 acquisition of Tesoro’s Oil and Gas E&P contracts (Sanga-Sanga / Samboja / Tarakan Blocks TAC and Tarakan Block PSC) in East Kalimantan, MedcoEnergi proceeded to successfully demonstrated its capability in redeveloping and improving the production of mature fields in East Kalimantan. The success in enhancing the performance of mature fields in East Kalimantan, on top of the successful stocks IPO in early fourth quarter 1994, strengthened MedcoEnergi’s confident to expand its upstream activities. In 1995 the Company acquired PT Stanvac Indonesia from Exxon and Mobil Oil. The Company acquired Oil and Gas E&P contracts (PSCs) in South Sumatra through this transaction.

Lead Inventory Management - Jakarta

Job Purpose

  • Controlling the movement of stock materials in the warehouse to ensure the value of material stock reaches the target value of material stock set by management.

Role & Responsibilities

  • To evaluate the movement of stock materials to ensure stock value is the lowest from the company’s target
  • To prepare MOU of material transfer among assets to obtain ARS approval from SKK Migas
  • To conduct warehouse physical inventory in all locations to ensure suitability of physical value with data value in the system
  • To identify company’s item that can be write off (in collaboration with warehouse lead
  • To monitor material reservation or data clearance of remaining data on SAP system
  • To update value in ROP (Re-Order Point) for routine items 
  • To prepare material stock report to skk migas on monthly basis
  • Etc.

Job Requirement Specification

  • Hold a minimum Bachelor (S1) degree from reputable university
  • Minimum 5 years’ experience in Inventory Management area (preferable Oil & Gas industry)
  • Understand MRP concept and have implementation experience
  • Familiar with SAP MM Module
  • Understand material cataloguing
  • Understand warehouse management activity

Surveillance & Troubleshooting Engineer - Palembang

Role & Responsibilities

  • To conduct condition monitoring of surface production facilities of all producing assets and give recommendation as part of surveillance activities for production operation excellence in accordance to best practice in engineering, and to conduct analysis from completed troubleshooting activities and to give recommendation for reliable production operation and to avoid repetitive failure.

Job Requirement Specification

  • Hold a minimum Bachelor (S1) degree in Mechanical Engineering / Electrical Engineering from reputable university with 5 years of working experience in oil & gas industry
  • Good at basic software (i.e Microsoft Office) and engineering software (i.e AutoCAD)
  • Fluent in written and spoken English
  • Excellence at interpersonal skill
  • Applicants must be willing to work in Sumatera Selatan (Palembang)
