The Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) is a central institution (focal point) that coordinates the implementation of efforts to prevent and eradicate money laundering crimes in Indonesia. Internationally, PPATK is a Financial Intelligence Unit (FIU) which has the task and authority to receive financial transaction reports, carry out analysis of financial transaction reports, and forward the results of the analysis to law enforcement agencies.Related Jobs
PPATK is directly responsible to the President of the Republic of Indonesia. As a form of accountability, PPATK makes and submits report on the implementation of its duties, functions and authorities periodically every 6 (six) months to the President and the House of Representatives.
Apart from the domestic scope, PPATK actively utilizes coordination and cooperation with FIUs from other countries as well as international forums such as The Egmont Group. These various collaborations were carried out by PPATK considering that money laundering is a crime that is committed by utilizing multidisciplinary knowledge, technological advances and does not recognize territorial boundaries.
The Anti-Money Laundering Approach is an approach that complements the conventional approach that has been used in fighting crime. This approach has several advantages and breakthroughs in uncovering crimes, pursuing the proceeds of crimes and proving them in court. The existence of PPATK and the Anti-Money Laundering Regime has the ultimate goal of maintaining financial stability and integrity as well as assisting law enforcement efforts to reduce crime rates.
Based on the Minister of State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform Republic Indonesia Decree Number 544 of 2023 concerning Determination of the Need for State Civil Apparatus Employee within the Central Government for Fiscal Year 2023, the Financial Transaction Reports and Analysis Center (PPATK) opens opportunities for Indonesian citizens who meet the requirements to participate in the selection of Civil Servant Candidate (CPNS) and Government Employee with Employment Agreement (PPPK) within the PPATK with following terms.
