In 2009, Bank Muamalat began the process of transformation, and one of the ways was by opening our first international branch office in Kuala Lumpur, Malaysia and was listed as the first bank and the only bank from Indonesia with business network in Malaysia. In line with that, in the preparation to cope with the ASEAN Economic Community in 2015, the business plan of Bank Muamalat in 2015 is also an important step to become the Asian Regional Player.
