Elnusa Petrofin ("EPN") was established in Jakarta on July 5, 1996. EPN is a subsidiary of PT. Elnusa Tbk (Public Company since 2008), where PT. Elnusa Tbk itself is a subsidiary of PT. Pertamina (Persero).

Initially, Elnusa Petrofin was the Fuel & Chemical Division of PT. Elnusa in 1990. Then in 1993 received the mandate from Pertamina to produce Premix (Pertamax), fuel oil (BBM) with a high octane level.
