PT Kereta Api Logistik or KAI Logistik is a subsidiary company established by PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) on September 8, 2009. The largest shareholders of KAI Logistik are PT Kereta Api Indonesia (Persero) with 99.3% and Yayasan Pusaka with 0.7%.

Purpose and objective of KAI Logistik establishment was to serve rail-based logistics distribution with door to door service business to provide complete service for rail customers supported by pre and post transportation. The function and role of KAI Logistik services have been provided by its parent is as a value-added creator along the value chain of logistics distribution service, including services provided by KAI, such as freight transportation and warehouse.
