2024 State Civil Apparatus Candidate (CASN) Recruitment Formation in Central Agencies
The opening of the selection of State Civil Apparatus Candidate (CASN) for Prospective Civil Servant (CPNS) and Government Employee with Work Agreement (PPPK) is targeted to open in June or July. The total approval in principle for formations in 2024 is 1,289,824 which is divided into 427,650 formations in central agencies and 862,174 formations in regional agencies, including digital talents who will be placed in the Indonesian Capital City (IKN) and regional governments.
"For the implementation of the 2024 CASN selection, the plan will be implemented starting in June or July after the agency receives the PANRB Minister's Decree regarding determining the needs / formation of ASN employees," said the Minister for State Apparatus Empowerment and Bureaucratic Reform (PANRB) Abdullah Azwar Anas, during a press conference regarding the recruitment of State Civil Apparatus (ASN) in 2024, in Jakarta, Friday (03/05).

After obtaining the decree, government agencies coordinated with The National Civil Service Agency (BKN) to announce formation vacancies and preparation for selection in 2024. It is hoped that in early July there will be an announcement regarding the time and location of the Basic Competency Selection (SKD).
"However, to ensure the schedule for announcements by agencies, registration and selection, it is still dynamic following existing developments," said Minister Anas. The government is trying to speed up the process of verifying and validating formation details.
As of May 2 2024, precisely at 20.10 WIB, 602 government agencies have carried out details into BKN's SIASN service system. It should be remembered that the total approval in principle for the formation is 1,289,824 to meet the ASN needs of 2.3 million in stages.
