PT Pelita Air Service, also referred to “Pelita Air” or “PAS” or “Company”, is a subsidiary of State-Owned Enterprises (SOE) PT Pertamina (Persero) engaged in the aviation service sector. The history of PT Pelita Air Service began when in 1963, PT Pertamina (Persero) established an air transportation service division named Pertamina Air Service with the purpose to support the national petroleum activities.
In 1970, Pertamina Air Service became an autonomous business entity in the form of Limited Liability Company (PT) under the name PT Pelita Air Service. The business activities of PAS are primarily serving the flight operations in Oil and Gas industry in Indonesia with the pattern of lease / charter as the main business.

During its journey, the Company established a number of business development policies, such as the initiation to expand its regular aviation business in 2000. However, the Company decided to close the regular aviation business and return to the aircraft charter service business due to the competitiveness and low profitability of the regular airline sector. In 2016, a further strategic policy was established to expand the business again. This time, to improve the Company’s aviation services, not only serving charter flights but also providing services to support the aviation business, including fuel cargo.
The Company formed S.B.U. Airports under the coordination of the Board of Directors. SBU (Strategic Business Unit) Airports’ tasks
include managing airports owned by PT Pertamina (Persero) to optimize assets. The SBU Airport management activities for PT Pertamina (Persero) airports include aircraft take off / landing services, passenger handling and the rental of airport facilities such as aprons, hangars and offices. In 2019, SBU Airport managed 3 airports owned by PT Pertamina (Persero), namely Pondok Cabe Airport, Pinang Kampai Airport (Dumai) and Tanjung Warukin Airport.
The Company’s operational area included 1 (one) Head Office, 1 (one) Management Office, and 3 (three) Branch Offices, at Halim Perdana Kusuma Airport, Jakarta, Sultan Aji Muhammad Sulaiman Airport, Balikpapan and Pinang Kampai Airport, Dumai.

Responsible to the Aviation Safety Manager for the oversight of cabin safety and in particular:
- To conduct periodic internal safety audit, survey and inspection
- To make sure MOR and VHR related to cabin safety will be read, validated and monitor until report completed with report closing evidence
- As investigator to collect information and for occurrence related to cabin safety
- To get involved in the ERP exercise
- To support the Safety Audit Team Leader.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma III
- The Cabin Safety Inspector held Aviation License for Flight Attendant
- Knowledge of Safety Management System
- Company Aviation Safety Officer (CASO) training (preferable)
- Aviation Safety Investigation training (preferable)
- Auditor training (preferable)
- Training of Trainer (TOT) training (preferable)
- Good attitude and teamwork
- Having skill using Microsoft Office
- Having English speaking and written skill.
Flight Safety

Job Description
Responsible to Aviation Safety Manager in particular:
- To conduct periodic internal safety audit, survey, and inspection
- To make sure that MOR and VHR related to flight safety will be read, validated and monitor until report completed with report closing evidence
- To collect and process data and information relating to flight risk assessment program
- To collect and cross-references process data and information FDA information with other safety data sources relating to flight data analysis program monthly and annually
- To create an ERP Scenario and get involved in the ERP exercise
- As investigator, may also be assigned to participate in aircraft accident and incident led by KNKT
- To support the Safety Audit Team Leader.
Job Requirements
- Minimum Diploma III
- The Flight Safety Inspector hold aviation license for CPL/ATPL
- The Flight Safety Inspector held A320 or ATR series Rating (prefererable)
- Knowledge of Safety Management System
- Company Aviation Safety Officer (CASO) training (preferable)
- Aviation Safety Investigation training (preferable)
- Auditor training (preferable)

FDA Officer

Job Description
Manage fight data for safety improvement by setting, controlling, and promoting continuous improvement of the Safety Management System in flight operational area and responsible to the Aviation Safety Manager for the oversight of safety and in particular:
- Identifying and assessing risk on each aircraft type being analysed are required for accurate diagnosis of operational hazards emerging
- Focus on monitoring fleet trends aggregated from numerous operations. The identification of systemic issues adds more value for safety management than isolated events
- A well-structured de-identification system to protect the confidentiality of the data
- An efficient communication system, to permit timely safety action, for disseminating hazard information and subsequent risk assessments internally
- Design, develop and implementing FDA Program including FDA Program Manual to comply with SI 19-03 Chapter 4
- Deliver information every deviation each flight to Flight and Maintenance Safety Inspector
- Monitor the trend of flight occurrence / events and determind the proper Mitigation Proposal to address safety issue
- Participating in accident and incident investigations
- Conducting flight safety analysis, trend monitor and studies
- Evaluating the FDA program
- Prepare monthly report.
Job Requirements

- The FDA Officer held Aviation License for Flight Operation Officer (FOO) or AMEL (Aircraft Maintenance Engineer License)
- Knowledge of Safety Management System
- Understanding regulatory compliance requirement (preferable)

- Aviation Safety Investigation training (preferable)
- Auditor training (preferable)
- Training of Trainer (TOT) training (preferable)
- Good attitude and teamwork
