The OT Engineer will apply technical knowledge to design, develop and maintain overall governance on standards, application, gaps, solutions and measurements to increase production quality, efficiency and volume for the business. Moreover, at the same time maintain a good OT environment for stable continuous production operation. In this role, you will perform day-to-day activities related to Automation and Digitalizaion engineering to enable projects and improve our capabilities by providing engineering support for the organization.
Responsible for overall OT maintenance, working together with other team members, working with Global OT team.
Vacancy Description
As Operation Technology Engineer, you will lead and participate in programming activities, monitoring, and evaluating system performance and designing and implementing new or existing programs, interfaces and features.
You contributes to the OT strategy by developing and sharing vison of own area of expertise, is able to connect own activities to the overall vision to stakeholders outside their own domain, has advanced technical knowledge related to the job role, peo-actively shares ideas and insights across the team. and Identifying, supporting and leads process improvement opportunities and translate them into initiatives for better, more solid process automation and integration.
What We Ask
- Bachelor’s degree in Electrical Engineering, Automation, Computer Science or a related field.
- >7 years of software engineering or software development experience, preferably in a related field.
- Expert knowledge at programming (Siemens, Allen Bradley PLC’s & SQL, Python, PHP ) including integration with MES.
- Highly in depth knowledge the TIA Portal and Aveva - MES & System Platform.
- Sound knowledge of database management, system performance and Windows environment
- Sound knowledge of the ITIL, ISA88 & ISA95 standards and how to apply those.
- Understands interconnectedness of connected Logical systems and physical processes.
- Familiarity with cybersecurity best practices in a manufacturing industry.
- Familiar with Hosting Virtualization will be advantage
- Familiar with Networking system will be advantage
- Excellent problem solving and analytical skills.
- Effective communication skills, with the ability to convey complex technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
