AI produces sub-bituminous coal of medium calorific value between 4,000 kcal/kg and 5,000 kcal/kg GAR from its three mines: Paringin, Tutupan and Wara. AI’s coal has ultra-low pollutant content, thus trademarked “Envirocoal”. Envirocoal has been developed into several different specifications and widely used by power stations and other industries globally since 1992. It is versatile to use, especially in environmentally-restricted condition, due to its low content of ash, sulphur and nitrogen, which are 2.5%, 0.2%, and 0.9% respectively. Due to its low-pollutant content, Envirocoal is often blended with higher ash and sulphur coals to reduce the cost associated with ash disposal and the capital expenditure required for sulphur and nitrous oxides reducing units. This means Envirocoal delivers high economic values and provides technical alternatives for achieving excellent coal combustion performance with lower expenditure, making it one of the most environmentally acceptable and cost-effective solid fuels available.

Job Responsibilities
- Ensuring that the execution of loading and unloading operations runs according to a predetermined plan and follows the company's work safety standards.
- Prepare assignment schedules for loading and unloading activities and socialize them to related operators
- Supervise the implementation of loading and unloading operational activities, and provide technical directions to operators in overcoming problems and / or following up

- Supervise the coal "handling" process in the pit including the quality and quantity to comply with the standard specifications that have been set so that the quality and quantity are maintained.
- Processing qualitative and quantitative data on reserves that are detailed and accurate to determine resources and reserve risks, as well as methods from mining to coal transportation used by Mine Engineering as information.
- Make plans and reports on Coal Flow and Coal Quality activities so that product specifications and coal quality are met according to coal quality recommendations.
- Monitor the implementation of investigations quickly, precisely and accurately for out-spec conditions and contamination until the problem is found and determine the right solution.
- Prepare reports on exploitation or development on an ongoing basis as information for the government.
